If you're new to the area, or if you are interested in finding a new pediatrician for your family, Pediatric Health Care Associates provides convenient, comprehensive pediatric care for patients from birth to age 21. Our five offices are located across the North Shore of Boston. Open 365 days a year, PHCA also offers urgent appointments at our Peabody location. Find out more about our practice philosophy and about our 20+ board certified pediatricians and nurse practitioners.

If you'd like to visit our practice and meet with one of our providers, simply call the office of your choice and schedule a new patient consultation. We'd be honored to meet you and your family. If you decide that PHCA is right for you, please download the Authorization to Obtain Medical Records. You can complete this and either send it to your child's previous provider or give it to our office staff. This will ensure a seamless transfer of your child's medical records, during this time of transition.

MyChart - PHCA's Patient Portal

We encourage every patient and family at PHCA to open and keep active a MyChart Patient Portal account. MyChart offers you online access to your medical information as well as a direct line of communication with PHCA staff and providers. With MyChart, you get the convenience of online appointment scheduling and online bill pay. You can request medication refills, as well as print out health forms and immunization records on your own, without having to contact or come into the office.  Before your well visit, complete any forms such as required developmental and behavioral screens, which saves time, and allows you more time with your provider to get your questions answered. Review lab results directly and receive follow up recommendations from your provider based on those results.

If you’re not yet active on MyChart, speak with any PHCA staff member during your next visit, and we can get you registered! MyChart can be accessed through any web browser, as well as via the MyChart App on iPhone and Android devices (**choose PPOC-Pediatric Physicians of Childrens when doing first time set up of the mobile app**).

Hospital Affiliations

The pediatricians at PHCA have privileges at the following local hospitals:

Delivery at affiliated or other hospitals

Pediatric Health Care Associates Clinicians attend newborn hospital rounds for infants born at Beverly Hospital. Simply tell your obstetrician and the hospital staff that your child's pediatrician works with Pediatric Health Care Associates. The nursing staff will then notify us at the time of your child's birth. One of our pediatricians will visit you within 24 hours and examine your baby each day you are in the hospital. Prior to going home, one of our pediatricians will also tell you when your child’s next appointment should be.

If you will be delivering at a different hospital, your baby will be cared for by the hospital's staff pediatricians; they will give you a summary of your child's birth and subsequent care. Please bring this paperwork to your child's first appointment with us. In the event your child requires specialty care, the neonatologists will notify us of your child's birth and will provide us with a detailed summary of the hospitalization at the time of his or her discharge.

Inpatient treatment

Should your child require inpatient treatment at one of the pediatric hospitals in Boston, the hospitalist doctors at that facility will be responsible for your child's daily care. They will provide us a summary of their care at the time of your child's discharge.
